Forming connections with people and getting to impact lives in a positive way is one of the greatest privileges a person could have. When you get to do it for your job like Caitlin Lee, well it just doesn't get any better than that!
Connecting with her patients and their families while playing a positive role in their journey towards healing is what she loves most about being a physical therapist.
One of the most heartwarming connections in Caitlin's career came when a patient visited her years after treatment. She brought her a gift as a symbol of gratitude for helping her get back to dancing and lifting weights following a severe injury from a car accident. Going out of her way years later just to connect and say thank you to Cailtin for all that she had done to help her, not only physically but mentally and emotionally too, meant the world to Caitlin. It's moments like this that fuel her continued passion for helping others as a physical therapist.
Caitlin's favorite advice to parents is that even though she will do everything in her power to ensure your child's success, it's also up to your child to put in the work at home! So in order to guarantee that they recover quickly and safely, they must have a desire to do so. If they don't, parents have to be ready to step in and help with their motivation at home because recovery is all about consistency.
When she isn't being a rockstar with her patients, Caitlin loves to be outside as much as possible. Lifting weights, rock climbing, yard games, exploring and hiking, sand volleyball, paddleboarding and dusting off her old soccer cleats from time to time are just a few of the things you can catch her doing in her free time. She also enjoys finding new places to eat around Austin and spending quality time with her friends and family.
Caitlin is the newest addition to the CTPO physical therapy family and we're beyond lucky to have her join us. We can't wait to see all the great work she will do for the greater Austin community and we're so excited for you to meet her!
