My two kids are the highlight of my life! We love to go on adventures, learn new things, play games, and celebrate holidays (big and small) to the fullest/silliest degree. I love to watch them do the things that bring them joy whether it be sports, crafts, or theater. I enjoy gardening, hiking, and reading.
WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING AT CTPO?
In 4th grade, I had a huge dilemma regarding which career to pursue: the medical field or teaching in a daycare. Once I voiced this, a wise adult mentioned pediatrics, and I never looked back. My favorite part of working for CTPO is the Marnie Paul Specialty Care Center. We frequently serve medically complex kids, the underserved, and refugee children from around the world. Earlier in my nursing career I was able to serve regularly on medical missions caring for children in India, Peru, Jordan, Senegal, Nicaragua, China, and Mexico. Providing medical care and education to these families at SCC is what I love.
STREET CRED
In 2002, my career started as a pediatric nurse at the Children's Hospital of Austin. This is where I first met the founding doctors of CTPO while caring for their patients. After obtaining my master's degree as a pediatric nurse practitioner, I left Dell Children's to work as a pediatric primary care provider for several years before sub-specializing in orthopedics. I've been working for CTPO for 12 years now!
